We collect information from you when you fill out our ASTAR training forms via the website or in one of our offices. We treat these forms as highly sensitive. We manage your personal and sensitive information in accordance with the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- Continuous process improvement policy – Your information will help us evaluate how our stakeholders see our operations. We are always willing to improve in our processes and maintain a high quality customer service and continue to support all our stakeholders need support needs
- Email use – The email address you have provided, may be used to send you information and updates. It maybe also be used to confirm that your payment has been successful.
- Generic Emails – Occasional company news, updates, related product or service information. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell or give outside parties your personally identifiable information without your consent. We may disclose your personal information where we are under a legal duty to do so, including circumstances where we are under a lawful duty of care to disclose information
You can access your personal information which we hold about you by written request. A request for access to the personal information we hold about you or in relation to a query about privacy should be sent to info@astartraining.com.au. A proof of identity will be needed before any information is given.
Third parties that may have affiliation with ASTAR Training Institute’s operations such as IT contractors (website maintenance, server upgrades) or educational coaches and trainers may have access to sensitive material; these parties have agreed to keep all our information confidential.
ASTAR Personnel (Sister Company)
Occasionally, our students or clients will be requesting positions with our sister company ASTAR Personnel. Please note in regards to this they have a separate entity have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of their specific operations.
